General Mills came to ThinkShop to create a new cereal targeted to women. We conducted a series of innovation sessions with experts, internal team members and creative consumers to uncover insights about women and develop new product ideas. We brought in outside resources to provide a fresh perspective and engaged the team in exercises designed to inspire new thinking. The process proved to be a winning formula for General Mills.
"ThinkShop stimulated our thinking with women experts such as a former Ms. Olympia who owns a personal training center, a representative from the Mind/Body Institute at Harvard, a publisher of a nutrition trends magazine and a nutritional biochemist. By working with ThinkShop, we developed a greater number of better ideas than with other idea generation methods we've tried. Best of all, we recently launched Harmony, a women's cereal that was born out of our work with ThinkShop."
